Mame Mamas
Finding Your Way
å¿ å®Ÿ - Mame (mah-meh) translates in Japanese into many different words, including loyal, diligent, hardworking, sincere, honest, healthy, attentive, and so much more. We at Mame Mamas believe that offering services that encompass all of these is paramount as your progress through your journey into parenting.
Japanese culture has multiple ways to use the word mame, with different kanji representing the different meanings. My personal favorites being 豆, which translates to beans or miniature things (babies in their first ultrasound look like miniature beans).
We like to combine both terms. Being å¿ å®Ÿ while taking care of our 豆.

I am a CNA lactation consultant working on my Birthing From Within certificate, as well as my RN degree. When I am not working with pregnant or nursing mothers, encapsulating placentas, or blogging; you can find me enjoying the Pacific Northwest with my two children, using oils for wellness & campaigning for safer beauty laws!
